Project Summary:

The City of Ontario has planned improvements in their City by having recycled water mains installed throughout various streets and intersections. The scope of work involves installing recycled water lines extending from Santa Ana Street from Dupont Avenue to Milliken Avenue, Jurupa Street from Haven Avenue to Dupont Avenue, Francis Street from Dupont Avenue, Rockefeller Avenue from Airport Drive. Improvement work also includes installation of new domestic water main throughout some residential areas and corresponding water services.

Highlights: This project consists of approximately 6,050 LF of purple PVC pipe for a recycled water main, of which approximately 4,100 LF of this water main was on Jurupa and had to be installed on a tight schedule to meet the City's demand for completion. Kana Pipeline averaged approximately 500 LF of pipe installed per day in order to accomplish this milestone. Additionally, there are 36 two (2") - inch reclaimed water services along Jurupa. Also 1,550 LF of PVC C-900 potable water line installed in residential area together with approximately 38ea. one (1") -inch domestic water services; 310 LF of Concrete Mortar Lined (CML) & Concrete Mortar Coated (CMC) Steel pipe for deep recycled water siphon installations.
