Straw Wattle

This straw-made material is typically used as part of Best Management Practices, a.k.a. "BMP's." A straw wattle has several uses: it captures inlet sedimentation; generally prevents sedimentation runoff in active construction jobsites; works as a check dam; diverts flow and directs stormwater to treatment areas as part of controlling stormwater runoff and general erosion control.
