Storm Drainage Systems

The largest portion of most storm drain systems is the pipeline. Kana Pipeline has installed all types of storm drain pipe ranging in size from 4-inches to 114-inches in diameter. These types of drainage systems include reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), high density polyethylene (HDPE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), corrugated metal pipe (CMP), cast iron pipe (CIP), and ductile iron pipe (DIP).

Kana Pipeline has been directly involved with moving small to massive amounts of storm water runoff away from streets, buildings, and populated areas, in compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System program.

There are considerable amounts of Non-Point Source Pollutants carrying both natural and foreign debris within drainage passageways. We possess substantial experience in working with various filtration systems such as geomembrane liners, filter fabric, fossil filters, storm water chambers and other forms of storm water filtration units which further reduce the quantity of pollutants entering our waterways and oceans.

Kana Pipeline has worked on many large construction projects requiring site-specific Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) that designate which Best Management Practices (BMP) contractors must use. The implementation of BMPs is environmentally important to mitigate pollutant runoff from construction site activities.

We install storm drain on all types of projects including residential, commercial, industrial, institutional and municipal projects. Because our surroundings depend largely upon storm water drainage systems, we are very conscious of how water and debris are separated in order to minimize environmental impacts. As a result, Kana Pipeline has grown to be a leader in providing safe, timely, and quality-driven installations of modern and specialty drainage systems.
