Pipeline Costs on the Rise
Kana Pipeline received notice indicating that a major resin supplier to the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and plastic pipe industry had declared "force majeure" due to the highly volatile situation in the resin market. This results in a significant price increase by as much as 30-50% in plastic PVC pipelines, which means contractors will need to confirm validity of pipeline orders as soon as possible.
